With the support of Fertile Ground, Green Connections provided education at the Girl Scouts Earth Day Event in Edmond, OK, on April 17, 2021. Girl Scouts learned about the environmental benefits of composting and recycling, what items can be composted and recycled, and how the composting process works. They each received a booklet showing how to start a compost bin of their own—and planted a seed to take home!
